Give to the Max Day and our 10,000-Meal Challenge

A volunteer holding a "I #givemeals ..." sign

A group of Meals on Wheels donors has come together to do something big this year. Knowing that Give to the Max Day is Minnesota’s largest day of giving, they want to see if Meals on Wheels supporters can raise enough money in one day to support the delivery of 10,000 meals to Twin Cities seniors.

They’ve committed to putting forward $20,000 in matching funds, but there’s a catch: We need to raise $40,000 on Give to the Max Day Thursday, Nov. 12, to unlock those matching funds. With your help, we can reach this goal and raise enough money to support the delivery of 10,000 meals in one big day!

Here are three ways you can help us reach our goal and max out our match on Give to the Max Day:

1. Donate. In order to meet this ambitious goal, we’ll need everyone’s help! Big or small, all donations will help us get to $40,000.

2. Share. We want to hear why you support Meals on Wheels and share your reasons with our supporters. Follow us on Facebook or Twitter to see why other people give and share your story with the hashtag #givemeals!

3. Join the fun! We’ll be sending out Meals on Wheels volunteers with special deliveries of appreciation for those who make a gift on Give to the Max Day. We’d like to get out to see as many of you as possible, so keep an eye on your email once you give!

Thanks for your past support of seniors and people with disabilities in the Twin Cities. We hope you can join us in making Give to the Max 2015 an extra special one for Meals on Wheels!
