Baked Rotini Pasta
Ingredients
- 12 oz Whole wheat rotini
- 1/2 Red onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic chopped
- 14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes
- 6 oz can of tomato paste
- 29 oz can of tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Pre-heat the oven to 325 degrees F
- Boil water and cook the rotini
- Saute onion and garlic in oil
- Add tomato paste, diced tomatoes and Italian seasonings
- Reduce by 1/3rd and add in the cooked rotini
- Place in a 9 x 13 baking dish and top with mozzarella
- Bake at 325 degrees F for 25 minutes or until cheese is melted
