The following neighborhood programs will not be delivering meals on Monday, April 16, as travel in certain areas is still treacherous after the past weekend’s winter storm:

Community Emergency Service Meals on Wheels (Minneapolis)
CROSS Meals on Wheels (Maple Grove/Rogers area)
Gladstone Meals on Wheels (North St. Paul)
Open Arms of Minnesota
White Bear Lake School District Meals on Wheels

Our neighborhood sites take the safety of our volunteers seriously and do no ask them to make deliveries if they feel the roads are not safe for driving that day. Our local programs provide Blizzard Boxes (shelf-stable emergency meal packs) to recipients in the fall in the event severe winter weather prevents regular meal delivery.
