Community Emergency Service – Meals on Wheels Associate

With the help of volunteers, Servicio de Emergencia Comunitaria (CES) serves over 350 people daily in the inner-city areas of South and North Minneapolis with a smile and prepared, nutritious hot noon meal or frozen meals delivered daily and monthly check-in calls. The Meals on Wheels Associate is responsible for the facilitation of the Frozen Production line, along with route coordination for the drivers, as well completion of prep work for the next day’s delivery. This position interacts with senior clients, staff and volunteers in person and on the phone. The full description of this part time position can be found aquí. With the help of volunteers, Community Emergency Service (CES) serves over 350 people daily in the inner-city areas of South and North Minneapolis with a smile and prepared, nutritious hot noon meal or frozen meals delivered daily and monthly check-in calls. The Meals on Wheels Kitchen Coordinator will play an essential role on the Meals on Wheels team, preparing the meals and sides each day for delivery to our clients. The Kitchen Coordinator role requires care and attention to detail, food safety and cleanliness, and maintaining our meal inventory. The full description of this part time position can be found sumi. Meals on Wheels South Shore – Program Director/Meal Coordinator

Meals on Wheels – South Shore delivers daily hot meals, or weekly frozen meals, to seniors and people with disabilities residing in the Excelsior/western Minnetonka area.  With the help of volunteers, they deliver an average of 10,500 meals each year, and in 2024, served 86 clients. The Program Director/Meal Coordinator provides administration and coordination for delivery of nutritious meals (hot or frozen) each weekday to seniors and others in our service area. This is a part-time, 25 hour/week position. The responsibilities of this position encompass all aspects of the Meals on Wheels – South Shore program. The Program Director/Meal Coordinator reports to the Board of Directors and works with the other part-time Meal Coordinator to prepare meals for daily deliveries.
