Metro Meals on Wheels partners with its 32 neighborhood member programs for the delivery of Meals on Wheels throughout the Twin Cities. The following employment and board of directors opportunities are available at our neighborhood programs:
Edina, Richfield, and Southwest Minneapolis Meals on Wheels are looking for someone to sub for their Program Director, for vacations, days off, etc. Hours would be around 2 – 5 hours a day, depending on the days you are needed.
The ideal candidate is detail oriented and not afraid of computers. The sub will be trained by the Program Director, and work alongside her a few days to learn assigned duties. Please contact Joanne Larsen at 612-990-5398 or [email protected] for more information.
This position coordinates the operational aspects of the Meals on Wheels program. This person carries out the day-to-day operations of meal prep and delivery, including the scheduling, supervision, and training of volunteers assigned roles in Meals on Wheels operations. This person serves as a backup to other CEAP Meals on Wheels team members and supports the CEAP Meals on Wheels team by cross training in all aspects of service delivery including client intake, resource assessment, and home visitations. This position is part of a dynamic senior services team.
