What’s new this year?
We’re thrilled to have Morgan Wolfe as our host this year! Morgan is an Anchor and Reporter for KARE 11, and we got to know her when she tagged along with Eastside Meals on Wheels volunteers ahead of a snowstorm last winter. We loved working with her and were impressed by her commitment to covering our story.
Morgan had this to say about her decision to host: “I’ve grown up knowing about the wonderful work Meals on Wheels does for our community. Through my career, I’ve seen how they change lives firsthand for those who need help.”
Morgan will bring great energy to this evening of food, fun, and fashion!
Also, new this year: You can reserve a table. You’ll get 10 tickets along with a table for you and your friends.
What’s with the name?
Meals on Heels began as an event where attendees could have fun with fashionable footwear while supporting Meals on Wheels – and the name was a logical fit. The Swank Soles Competition crowns the most fashion-forward and imaginative footwear in two divisions: Individual and Group. Winners in each category will receive $250 Schuler Shoes gift cards! This is a friendly competition, and attendees are not required to participate.

What’s the food situation?
We have an amazing selection of foods to sample from top local restaurants. From Wrecktangle Pizza, which was named best pizzeria in the country, to scientifically hand-crafted ice cream from Sweet Science Ice Cream, we’ve got a great mix of restaurants in our lineup.
How about drinks?
General admission tickets include two drink tickets for hosted beer, wine, cocktails, and several NA beverage choices. Additional drinks can be purchased at the cash bar.
Is there a raffle? Auction? More?
Along with mingling and sampling food, there are plenty of opportunities to win exciting prizes throughout the evening. We’ll have a raffle, live auction, andthe return of crowd favorite Spin the Bottle! We’ve got gift cards and swag from local restaurants and breweries, passes for activities like golfing and bowling, admission tickets to local museums, and even State Fair tickets to give away as prizes. Plus $2,500 in Schuler Shoes gift cards!
How should I get there?
We recommend public transit, taxi, and ride-share apps for maximum and safe enjoyment of all the event has to offer. If you plan on driving, there is small lot next to The Whim and there should be plenty of neighborhood street parking.
How do I get tickets?
Get them online until the day before the event! Tickets will also be available at the door.
