Meals on Heels 2017 is just more than a month away! Not only is this event a blast to attend, but 100% of the proceeds to go support Meals on Wheels. One of the highlights of the event every year is the tasty food that is provided by local restaurants. Below is a sample of the some of the restaurants that you will get the chance to taste-test at Meals on Heels this year.

Xavi Restaurant

The New American Restaurant, Xavi, will be making its first appearance at Meals on Heels this year, and we couldn’t be more excited. Xavi serves small plates as well as meaty entrees, which pair well with their beer and wine selection. Their pleasant outdoor patio is the perfect place to spend a nice summer night.

Eli’s East Food and Cocktails

Eli’s East Food and Cocktails will also be a new face at Meals on Heels this year, and with their many local ingredients and housemade items, we are sure guests will not be disappointed. If you can’t wait until Meals on Heels and want to check them out, take advantage of some of their features such as late-night dining (kitchen open until 1 a.m.), as well as a weekend brunch.

French Meadow Bakery & Cafe

The French Meadow Bakery & Cafe was the first certified organic bakery in the United States. They serve gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, local, organic and natural foods. They are also a returning Meals on Heels restaurant and we are very much anticipating what delicious and unique food they will bring to Meals on Heels this year!

Nothing Bundt Cakes

We are stoked that the delicious Nothing Bundt Cakes will be back at Meals on Heels this year! These mouth-watering cakes are all made with real, fresh ingredients. They are readily available, so if you can’t wait until August to get yours, you can stop into one of their six locations in the Metro to pick one up.

Rival House Sporting Parlour

The Rival House Sporting Parlour in downtown St. Paul offers both a vintage industrial restaurant and a cocktail lounge. On top of that, their Sporting Parlour hosts a variety of games such as skee ball, ping pong, and bubble hockey. Their wood-fired pizzas pair great with their beer-focused craft cocktails and premium spirits. They are new to Meals on Heels this year, and we are thrilled to have them be a part of our event!

The St. Paul Grill

The award-winning St. Paul Grill is both a St. Paul and Meals on Heels classic, but every year they surprise us with a new and enticing dish to try. Their diverse menu offers a range of classic American food along with extensive choices of rare scotches, whiskeys and cognacs. We can’t wait to see what they conjure up this year!
